Unemployment Benefits Extended 13 Additional Weeks

Nothing is secure in today's job market... especially when it comes to unemployment compensation.

And for some... those that are now receiving unemployment benefits will be happy to hear that thanks to the Emergency Unemployment Compensation program... extension of benefits will be an additional 13 weeks, above the regular 26 week period.

However... The bad news is that many people who do lose their jobs may not qualify for these benefits at all.

To qualify... many states require recently laid off workers to have previously been employed full-time and working for a certain amount of time.

The extension of benefits is federally funded and allows the unemployed to receive additional checks half the time of the original claim.

For more information or to apply for these benefits, visit www.ncesc.com.
